I entered in a Street Photography contest today. I will be going up against some of the biggest names in the street photography world. Wish me luck!
1) The story behind the shot: I was crossing a street in New York City and as I was crossing I saw this man just resting in the middle of the street on his bike. It was like he was just tired and worn out from the day.
2) Why the photograph is meaningful to you: To me this photo means a lot too me because of how much emotion it shows. You can see that the man is worn out and exhausted. I also like how it almost seems as if the world around him is still moving yet he himself is almost frozen in time.
3) One piece of advice you would give to other street photographers: Make yourself invisible. Remove yourself from existence almost. If people don’t notice you then you can really get some amazing shots. And of always have fun when taking photos!
